REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
Except as follows, there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market aka BMF endeavor to follow all applicable public health orders from the Government of Alberta that are intended to protect our guests from the spread of COVID-19. In the event that social distancing requirements and/or restrictions on mass gatherings affect the 2022 Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, BMF reserves the right to reissue your ticket for a different date, section or seat of equal face value. If this should happen, you may choose to: (i) accept the re-issued ticket; (ii) explore other show dates; or (iii) receive a full refund. You have until May 28, 2022 to let us know your decision. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE GIVEN AFTER May 28, 2022, AND ALL SALES WILL THEN BE FINAL.

Terms and Conditions

By presenting a purchased ticket for admission into The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, the holder of this ticket (the “Holder”) agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

The Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers connected to, associated with or incidental to the event for which this ticket is issued (the "Event"), including the Holder's presence at the Event and/or The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc. The Holder hereby waives and releases all claims or actions against the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc. or any of its sponsors, as well as against any of the respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and volunteers of the The Bashaw Medival Faire & Aritsan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc. or its sponsors, for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to the Event or Holder’s attendance at the Bashaw Agricultural grounds aka Bashaw Rodeo Grounds aka BRG , regardless of whether such loss, injury, damages or liability arises from negligence, libel, defamation, loss of privacy, COVID-19, or otherwise.

The Holder acknowledges and agrees that admission to and attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG is conditional upon the Holder’s compliance with all applicable laws, by-laws, posted facility rules, and guidelines below (scroll down to view) (collectively, the “Rules”). Failure to comply with the Rules may result in non-admission or expulsion from The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG. Holder consents to reasonable examinations and searches of his/her person and effects to ensure compliance with the Rules, and acknowledges that alcohol, illegal substances, cameras, bags, containers, and any other personal items may be excluded from The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG.

The Holder acknowledges that the Holder has no reasonable expectation of privacy or anonymity while at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG. The Holder further acknowledges that the Holder may be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded, and hereby consents to such activities and grants The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc, and its licensees permission to use the Holder's name, photograph, image and/or likeness in any live or recorded media, in perpetuity, and without compensation to Holder, for journalistic, advertising, marketing, promotional, archival and/or security purposes. To protect, among other things, the personal information of our guests, the Holder agrees: (i) not to reproduce, perform, display, or upload any photographs, videos, and/or recordings that you may take or record while at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG; and
(ii) upon our request, to immediately remove and/or delete any and all such photographs, videos, and/or recordings online or from any other media.

Tickets which are lost, stolen or fraudulent will not be honored. Latecomers may not be seated.

Terms of Entry

Thank you for joining us at the Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market. To ensure the best possible experience for all of our guests attending this event, we ask that you conduct yourself according to all applicable laws as well as all of the rules, guidelines and policies of the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc., including those listed below, and those posted within the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds aka Bashaw Rodeo Grounds aka BRG (collectively, the "Rules").

Your access to or attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the Bashaw Rodeo Grounds is conditional on your acceptance of the Rules. Thank you again and we hope you enjoy this event!

RULES

  1. Tickets, passes and other entitlements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable and void if altered, lost, stolen or fraudulent.
  2. Security screening/checks are in place at entrances and within BRG. All guests and their belongings may be subject to such screening. Guests declining to be searched will not be permitted into BRG.
  3. We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other items to be brought into BRG, and to deal with any unattended object in such way as we consider appropriate. Prohibited items should be kept at home, stored in your vehicle, or can be voluntarily surrendered at the entrance. Surrendered items will not be returned.
  4. Please show common courtesy to fellow guests, volunteers and employees by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour. Any form of verbal or physical abuse towards fellow guests, volunteers and employees will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate removal from BRG with no refund.
  5. For the comfort of all guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are permitted in designated smoking areas. Marijuana (for medical purposes or otherwise) and illegal drugs may NOT be consumed on BRG property.
  6. In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing with rude, vulgar, offensive language or graphics and images/emblems that can be identified as gang colours are not permitted. These items of clothing must be removed or turned inside-out. If in doing so the results do not meet the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market Inc. and LegendWorks Events Inc. Terms of Entry you may be asked to leave BRG Property.
  7. Bikini/bathing suit tops must be covered up while on The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG. Sheer, mesh and see-through clothing cannot be used as a cover-up over bathing suits.
  8. Laws prohibiting consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors, illegal drugs, and disorderly conduct of any kind will be strictly enforced. All guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. Please don’t drink and drive.
  9. Access to attractions depends upon the safety rules for each attraction.

Entertainment

Entertainment will be available at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG. 

  • Jousting
  • Sword Fighting Tournament - TBA
  • Any and all other entertainment

There is an inherent risk in attending and spectating at any such entertainment. We expect our guests who seek to enjoy the entertainment to:

  • Exercise good judgment
  • Act in a responsible manner
  • Comply with all specific guidelines posted throughout the property
  • Obey all oral and written warnings
  • Do not engage in any of the entertainment or activities without signing a waiver.

TERMS OF ENTRY

1.  We endeavor to make your time at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG as safe and enjoyable as possible. Nevertheless, please be aware that there are risks inherent to your visit. Guests voluntarily assume all risks and dangers connected to, associated with or incidental to their presence at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG. Guests hereby waive and release all claims or actions against the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, LegendWorks Events Inc. and the BRG or any of its sponsors, as well as against any of the respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and volunteers of the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, LegendWorks Events Inc. and the BRG or its sponsors, for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to the Guest’s attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG, regardless of whether such loss, injury, damages or liability arises from negligence, libel, defamation, loss of privacy, COVID-19, or otherwise.

2.  We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG and/or attends LegendWorks Events Inc. produced events and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.

You consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded in connection with, or as part of, The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG.

  • journalistic, advertising, marketing, promotional, archival and/or security activities;
  • You consent to such photography, filming and/or recording, including the use of UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle) / drone which may be used to capture footage and will be flown in close proximity on park. And to any use, in any and all media, throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation to you, of your appearance, voice and/or name for the above-noted purposes; 
  • You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on these consents given by you by entering The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG; and To protect, among other things, the personal information of our guests, you agree: (i) not to reproduce, perform, display or upload any photographs, videos and/or recordings, that you may take or record while at the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG; and (ii) upon our request, to immediately remove and/or delete any and all such photographs, videos and/or recording online or from any other media.

3.  Re-entry is not permitted.

4.  Admission is not guaranteed in the event of a force majeure.

5.  You acknowledge and agree that your admission to and attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG is conditional upon your compliance with all Rules, including for greater certainty, all applicable laws, by-laws and posted facility rules (including these rules and terms of entry).

6.  We reserve the right to deny admission or to require a person already admitted to leave The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.

7.  We may from time to time, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, change the operating hours of The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG or any attraction, close The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program if we consider that the circumstances so require.

8.  The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market and LegendWorks Events Inc. ‘Rules’ and ‘Terms of Entry’ are subject to change without notice. From time to time, changes may be made to these Rules and Guidelines to, for example, reflect changes in our legal or regulatory obligations. Revised versions of these Rules and Guidelines will be posted on this website. Accordingly, we encourage each of our guests to refer back to it on a regular basis prior to attending The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG.

Other important legal terms.

1.Under no circumstances will The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, LegendWorks Events Inc. and the BRG be responsible for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to an Event or your attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG.

2.You hereby waive and release all claims or actions against The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, LegendWorks Events Inc. and the BRG or any of its sponsors, as well as against any of the respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and volunteers of the The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market, LegendWorks Events Inc. and the BRG or its sponsors, for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to an Event or your attendance at The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG, regardless of whether such loss, injury, damages or liability arises from negligence, libel, defamation, loss of privacy, or otherwise.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items may not be brought into The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG:

  • All forms of knives/scissors/bladed items
  • Firearms/slingshots/ammunition
  • Conducted Energy Weapons (e.g. Taser)
  • Replica firearms/weapons including items that appear to be firearms
  • Hand tools/electric tools
  • Alcohol
  • Drugs/drug paraphernalia/illegal substances
  • Drones/Radio Controlled devices
  • Skateboards/Segway’s/wheelies/shoes with wheels
  • Mace/pepper spray/bear spray
  • Paint/markers
  • Fireworks
  • Explosives/flammable items/ignition devices
  • Compressed and/or liquid gas/aerosol sprays (except personal care products, sunscreen, insect repellant)
  • Corrosive chemicals/flammable substances
  • Bicycles/scooters
  • Light emitting devices (lasers)
  • Banners/signs/voice amplification devices
  • Air horns/artificial noisemakers
  • Sporting Goods (baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs, bows and arrows)
  • Masks that disguise the identity of an individual (face masks and coverings related to COVID-19 or health and safety are permitted).
  • Pets/other animals except animals with a Service Dog Identification Card
  • Materials of an extremist/offensive /discriminatory nature
  • Pad locks/chains/cables/zip ties/handcuffs
  • Flyers/samples/promotional items/giveaways
  • Glass containers /other containers in which their contents cannot be easily checked
  • Articles of clothing with offensive language/images
  • Any item deemed a danger/threat to public order or safety

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are not allowed:

1.Acts of demonstration, solicitation, distribution or private sale of materials or event tickets on these premises are prohibited unless pre-authorized in writing by The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market and LegendWorks Events Inc.

2.The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind.

3.Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind for commercial purposes.

4.Engaging in any unsafe act that may impede the operation of The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market and LegendWorks Events Inc. or any associated venue.

5.Guests arriving to The Bashaw Medieval Faire & Artisan Market held at the BRG intoxicated will not be admitted into BRG.
